The Parable of the Prodigal Son—Is It Still Relevant 2,000 Years Later? – June 5, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

In his wisdom, Ernest Homes neutrally referred to the Bible as “The Grand Old Book,” saying this of it:

“We shall approach our study [of the Bible] with the idea in mind that we are working out a philosophy of life which deals with man’s relationship to Spirit. No attempt will be made to explain all the intricate sayings of the Bible, but rather to analyze those passages which have a direct meaning and significance in everyday living.” And that is precisely what we will be doing throughout the month of June when our theme will be, “The Wisdom of the Grand Old Book.”

The topic on June 5, 2016, was The Parable of the Prodigal Son—Is It Still Relevant 2,000 Years Later? The metaphysical lesson of this parable is something each of us faces many times throughout any given day: “Should I choose this, or that?” Have you considered the basis for your choice-making? Is it like the younger son who went to the “far country,” separate from Source? Or like the son who remained at “home” in a consciousness of oneness with Source?

Hoarding Versus Conserving Wisely – May 29, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The journey into a demonstration of abundance begins with the realization that our part is to claim in consciousness what is ours by divine inheritance. I invite you to tune in each week this month, as we support one another in doing just that by embodying this month’s theme: “ABUNDANCE: The Awareness of What Is Already Yours.”

The topic on May 29, 2016, was Hoarding Versus Conserving Wisely. When a person hoards, it is due to an imagined fear of shortage in the future. When a person practices wise conservation, this is a consciousness of substance, of acknowledgment that all of one’s needs are met with a sufficiency to “spare and share” with others and tithing to the source of one’s spiritual home and other humanitarian causes. So let’s set up those “fun funds” and let the stream of Divine Supply flow into our lives.

I encourage you to pause and consider the application of this week’s topic in your life. Then take a moment to express gratitude for all the good that is yours, even as you open to receive greater abundance from Spirit’s limitless storehouse of supply.

It’s About More Than Money – May 22, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The journey into a demonstration of abundance begins with the realization that our part is to claim in consciousness what is ours by divine inheritance. I invite you to tune in each week this month, as we support one another in doing just that by embodying this month’s theme: “ABUNDANCE: The Awareness of What Is Already Yours.”

The topic on May 22, 2016, was It’s About More Than Money. The principle of tithing, or giving, is clearly stated in Luke 6:38: “Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over.” Whether it’s love, kindness, compassion, tithing, inspiration—when we give it wholeheartedly, it returns to us abundantly. Likewise, when we withhold it, it is withheld from us. And we tithe to our spiritual home so that it, too, may thrive and share its message.

I encourage you to pause and consider the application of this week’s topic in your life. Then take a moment to express gratitude for all the good that is yours, even as you open to receive greater abundance from Spirit’s limitless storehouse of supply.

Walking the Talk in a Consciousness of Plenitude – May 15, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The journey into a demonstration of abundance begins with the realization that our part is to claim in consciousness what is ours by divine inheritance. I invite you to tune in each week this month, as we support one another in doing just that by embodying this month’s theme: “ABUNDANCE: The Awareness of What Is Already Yours.”

The topic on May 15, 2016, was Walking the Talk in a Consciousness of Plenitude. Our words, whether in the form of thoughts or spoken aloud, set energy in motion. We can’t afford to be sloppy or mindless about them. When we think and speak in terms of plenitude, we walk that talk of plenty. The question is, plenty of what? The answer is, whatever it is that we give our energy to. Thoughts and words of positivity, of mentally accepting and speaking our word of abundance results in abundance.

I encourage you to pause and consider the application of this week’s topic in your life. Then take a moment to express gratitude for all the good that is yours, even as you open to receive greater abundance from Spirit’s limitless storehouse of supply.

Why Expectancy Produces Demonstration – May 8, 2014

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The journey into a demonstration of abundance begins with the realization that our part is to claim in consciousness what is ours by divine inheritance. I invite you to tune in each week this month, as we support one another in doing just that by embodying this month’s theme: “ABUNDANCE: The Awareness of What Is Already Yours.”

The topic on May 8, 2016, was Why Expectancy Produces Demonstration. Do we get what we want, or what we expect to get? Underlying our wants is our level of expectancy, meaning our trust that what we desire will demonstrate itself. Faith is the key that turns the lock of the storehouse of spiritual energy, causing it to take the form equivalent to our faith and to our expectancy of receiving. So let’s invest our faith-filled energy in attuning to the energy present in the Law of Abundance!

I encourage you to pause and consider the application of this week’s topic in your life. Then take a moment to express gratitude for all the good that is yours, even as you open to receive greater abundance from Spirit’s limitless storehouse of supply.

Spiritual Substance Is All That There Is – May 1, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The journey into a demonstration of abundance begins with the realization that our part is to claim in consciousness what is ours by divine inheritance. I invite you to tune in each week this month, as we support one another in doing just that by embodying this month’s theme: “ABUNDANCE: The Awareness of What Is Already Yours.”

The topic on May 1, 2016, was Spiritual Substance Is All That There Is. Material substance in all of its forms and manifestations is made from the spiritual substance of Source itself. As Charles Fillmore writes, “The Spiritual Substance from which comes all visible wealth is never depleted. Our thoughts and words govern our demonstration.” What, specifically, are the thoughts and words we must apply to cause spiritual substance to take the form of financial health and well-being in our lives?

I encourage you to pause and consider the application of this week’s topic in your life. Then take a moment to express gratitude for all the good that is yours, even as you open to receive greater abundance from Spirit’s limitless storehouse of supply.

Now What? – January 31, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! As we welcome in 2016, let us begin with gratitude for all the opportunities we had for personal growth throughout the previous year, and open our hearts to those that we will greet in this New Year. What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 31, 2016, was Now What? As the Zen proverb goes, “After enlightenment, the laundry,” which is to say that after we listen and read and study we go on performing our daily responsibilities, knowing that we are accompanied by a Presence that adds delight to the simplest of actions. Spiritual practice isn’t a way of life where practicality is subservient to otherworldliness. Our purpose is to awaken to who we truly are and live in a way that invites wisdom.

How to Use It – January 24, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The topic on January 24, 2016, was How to Use It. Science of Mind and Spiritual Mind Treatment is not a belief system, it is a systemized, scientific practice that proves itself by being practiced. Through taming the mind’s chatterbox syndrome, we can begin to think thoughts and feel feelings that reveal the Higher Self and its empowerment of demonstration. This empowerment is within us all, and our practice is to self-empower it into everyday, practical expression.

What It Does – January 17, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 17, 2016, was What It Does. “We are surrounded by and immersed in a perfect life; a complete, normal, happy, sane, harmonious and peaceful existence. But only as much of this life as we embody will actually become ours to use.” It is this embodiment that constitutes our spiritual practice. In other words, metabolizing into the core of our consciousness that we are worthy of the divine inheritance Spirit has given us: our inherent capacity to operate universal law.

The Way It Works – January 10, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! As we welcome in 2016, let us begin with gratitude for all the opportunities we had for personal growth throughout the previous year, and open our hearts to those that we will greet in this New Year. What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 10, 2016, was The Way It Works. The way this Mind works is governed by love and law: Love makes the way possible, and the universal law condenses thought-energy into form. And that thought-energy is operable within you 24/7, awake or asleep, unconditionally. When you speak your word, it’s not the loudness of it that represents your conviction of it, but rather your full trust that what you speak into law “is already done.”
