The Art of Life – January 12, 2025

I welcome you into the abundant blessings of Spirit and the limitless possibilities that are ready to greet us as we leap into the New Year. Reviewing the year we leave behind is a perfect time for prayer, to gladden our hearts by bringing into our awareness the true nature of human goodness. Toward that intention, our theme of the month is “The Nuts and Bolts of Our Teaching.”

A New Beginning is a golden opportunity to deepen our spiritual practice by choosing to embody and shine with invincible faith in Spirit and its laws, to express toward our global family extra love, compassion, generosity, and respect. In closing, I deeply thank you for the contribution of your consciousness to this Beloved Spiritual Community.

The January 12, 2025 topic is The Art of Life. Throughout the ages, awakened spiritual teachers have provided this wisdom for the true art of living: a conscious relationship with Spirit and living by its laws provides factual evidence that we are as much a part of Spirit now as we will ever be, that all that we seek is already right within us as the very essence of our being. Are you ready to live from this knowing?

This Thing Called You – January 5, 2025

Thoughts, feelings, spiritual practices and actions collectively express our individual “inner ecology.” Today, in an open spirit of receptivity, we will reflect on how our relationship with ourself, Spirit and its Universal Laws are currently manifesting in all aspects of that which we call “me,” and how we can consciously accelerate our inner and outer evolutionary process.

Universal Law: An All-day Practice – December 29, 2024

Joyous Christmas, Chanukah, and Kwanzaa wishes to you and your loved ones!

At times we may hear it said that Christmas has become materialistic, but the truth is no thing or no one can take the Christ-spirit out of this sacred season. My intention is that each of us may realize the eternal Christ presence within us as we share December’s theme, “The Everlasting Light of Christ Consciousness.”

The December 29, 2024 topic is Universal Law: An All-day Practice. We tend to think that it is during formal practice of spiritual mind treatment that we activate Universal Law. The truth is, we set the Law into operation and manifest through the power of our everyday thoughts, opinions, beliefs, hopes, and habit patterns. Today, we will look at the more subtle aspects of how we constantly activate the Law in our life.

My intention is that each of us may realize the eternal Christ presence within us as we share December’s theme, “The Everlasting Light of Christ Consciousness.”

The December 22, 2024 topic is Living True Abundance. As we apply the universal laws governing the universe, we validate our birthright of having been empowered to consciously create a life of true abundance. Not to be confused with spiritual materialism, we define abundance as including the qualities of unconditional love, compassion, prosperity, generosity, creativity, and selfless service.

Let the God-Times Roll! – December 15, 2024

The December 15, 2024 topic is Let the God-Times Roll! The Light of our spirit never diminishes, never leaves us. Have you noticed that Christmas, Chanukah, and Kwanzaa are all celebrations of that Light? Today, and all days, let us rejoice and give thanks for the unique, individual expression of Light that each one of us is, that radiates through us as a beautiful presence in the world.

The Proof Is In the Practice – December 8, 2024

The December 8, 2024 topic is The Proof Is In the Practice. Studying the lives and teachings of awakened beings reveals that their enlightenment resulted from their direct realization of Spirit. And so is it true that we too must enter the laboratory of our own consciousness to connect with Spirit at a level that provides proof, through our spiritual practices, of the magnitude of its presence within us.

The December 1, 2024 topic is The One Life. The One Life that we call God is living itself in us, through us, and as us. As Acts 17:28 reminds us, “for in Spirit we live, and move, and have our being.” It is through our commitment to our spiritual practice that we awaken to this inherent wholeness and beauty that is the ultimate truth of our being.

The Inseparability of Love and Forgiveness – November 24, 2024

Loving greetings and joyous Thanksgiving wishes to you and your loved ones as you celebrate all the blessings in your lives. And please know that your presence in our spiritual family is to me a gift for which I am so deeply grateful.

Life’s journey is clearly multifaceted, interwoven as it is with pairs of opposites such as joys and sorrows. By giving ourselves quiet time for prayer and reflection, we gratefully discover that even within our challenges there is potential for inner growth. When such gratitude fills our heart, we feel what true prayer is, what Spirit’s unconditional love is. And that is why our theme of the month is “Gratitude: An Unconditional Quality of Consciousness.”

The November 24, 2024 topic is The Inseparability of Love and Forgiveness. The question is not about deserving or not deserving forgiveness; the question is about whether or not we have sufficient love in our hearts to forgive both ourselves and others. When we withhold forgiveness we simultaneously withhold love. The more readily we forgive, the more we express the quality of divine love within us. As the adage goes, “To err is human, to forgive is divine.”

The Energizing Grace of Perseverance – November 17, 2024

Loving greetings and joyous Thanksgiving wishes to you and your loved ones as you celebrate all the blessings in your lives. And please know that your presence in our spiritual family is to me a gift for which I am so deeply grateful.

Life’s journey is clearly multifaceted, interwoven as it is with pairs of opposites such as joys and sorrows. By giving ourselves quiet time for prayer and reflection, we gratefully discover that even within our challenges there is potential for inner growth. When such gratitude fills our heart, we feel what true prayer is, what Spirit’s unconditional love is. And that is why our theme of the month is “Gratitude: An Unconditional Quality of Consciousness.”

The November 17, 2024 topic is The Energizing Grace of Perseverance. Webster’s Dictionary describes perseverance as remaining steadfast “in a course of action in spite of difficulties, obstacles or discouragement.” Our commitment to persevere in our spiritual practice despite setbacks or distractions is supported by a Divine Grace that empowers us to always keep going, to discover that we never walk the journey alone.

Appreciation: An Energy of the Heart – November 10, 2024

The November 10, 2024 topic is Appreciation: An Energy of the Heart. Authentic appreciation gives our heart wings to fly directly to our Creator Source, which has graced us with the capacity to feel, to love, to laugh, to grieve, to heal, to co-create with all aspects of our life. This knowing causes us to bend a knee in profound gratitude, to know why it is said that “Thank you” is the most complete prayer.
