Spiritual Substance Is All That There Is – May 1, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

The journey into a demonstration of abundance begins with the realization that our part is to claim in consciousness what is ours by divine inheritance. I invite you to tune in each week this month, as we support one another in doing just that by embodying this month’s theme: “ABUNDANCE: The Awareness of What Is Already Yours.”

The topic on May 1, 2016, was Spiritual Substance Is All That There Is. Material substance in all of its forms and manifestations is made from the spiritual substance of Source itself. As Charles Fillmore writes, “The Spiritual Substance from which comes all visible wealth is never depleted. Our thoughts and words govern our demonstration.” What, specifically, are the thoughts and words we must apply to cause spiritual substance to take the form of financial health and well-being in our lives?

I encourage you to pause and consider the application of this week’s topic in your life. Then take a moment to express gratitude for all the good that is yours, even as you open to receive greater abundance from Spirit’s limitless storehouse of supply.

Now What? – January 31, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! As we welcome in 2016, let us begin with gratitude for all the opportunities we had for personal growth throughout the previous year, and open our hearts to those that we will greet in this New Year. What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 31, 2016, was Now What? As the Zen proverb goes, “After enlightenment, the laundry,” which is to say that after we listen and read and study we go on performing our daily responsibilities, knowing that we are accompanied by a Presence that adds delight to the simplest of actions. Spiritual practice isn’t a way of life where practicality is subservient to otherworldliness. Our purpose is to awaken to who we truly are and live in a way that invites wisdom.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 24, 2016, was How to Use It. Science of Mind and Spiritual Mind Treatment is not a belief system, it is a systemized, scientific practice that proves itself by being practiced. Through taming the mind’s chatterbox syndrome, we can begin to think thoughts and feel feelings that reveal the Higher Self and its empowerment of demonstration. This empowerment is within us all, and our practice is to self-empower it into everyday, practical expression.

The topic on January 17, 2016, was What It Does. “We are surrounded by and immersed in a perfect life; a complete, normal, happy, sane, harmonious and peaceful existence. But only as much of this life as we embody will actually become ours to use.” It is this embodiment that constitutes our spiritual practice. In other words, metabolizing into the core of our consciousness that we are worthy of the divine inheritance Spirit has given us: our inherent capacity to operate universal law.

The Way It Works – January 10, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! As we welcome in 2016, let us begin with gratitude for all the opportunities we had for personal growth throughout the previous year, and open our hearts to those that we will greet in this New Year. What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 10, 2016, was The Way It Works. The way this Mind works is governed by love and law: Love makes the way possible, and the universal law condenses thought-energy into form. And that thought-energy is operable within you 24/7, awake or asleep, unconditionally. When you speak your word, it’s not the loudness of it that represents your conviction of it, but rather your full trust that what you speak into law “is already done.”

The Thing Itself – January 3, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 3, 2016, was The Thing Itself. “The mind which we discover within us is the mind that governs everything. This is the thing itself,” said Ernest Holmes. That “thing” with a capital “T” is Spirit, First Cause, Universal Mind, God, and yet it is beyond all names, just as are we. When the dust and grit of the journey weigh us down, holding up the cosmic mirror and reminding ourselves of our true reflection provides the enthusiasm and energy to persevere on our path.

Come Out from Under that Bushel! – August 16, 2015

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. This month’s theme is It’s Up to You.

The desire for happiness is a universal one. Within every one of us there exists an inherent yearning to know its source and assure that it is constantly on tap in our lives. In fact, most of us invest our hearts, minds and spirits in going about accomplishing this. This month’s Talks will provide the inner spiritual technology for understanding that running up against our doubts, fears, and insecurities doesn’t have to prevent us from arriving at happiness. Listen every week as we explore how incorporating all the facets of our lives in our practice contributes to harmonizing mind, body, and spirit.

The topic on August 16, 2015, was Come Out from Under that Bushel! The Spirit within that ignites our light of beingness is not meant to be concealed; it is meant to be revealed. The parable of the lamp under a bushel appears in three different places in the Bible and once in the non-canonical Gospel of Thomas. Allowing the radiant light of our being to shine through all aspects of our lives is the way it amplifies, multiplies, and accelerates our gifts, talents, skills, and therefore our abundance.

Vulnerability Is Victory – May 31, 2015

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. This month’s theme is The “V” WordVulnerability.

Have you ever considered how being over-serious closes the window of our minds and armors our hearts? Light and laughter cannot enter and lift our spirits, and that’s where vulnerability steps in to soften and open us, to allow us to laugh at our all-caught-up-ness in the “monolithic me” that takes itself and life far too seriously.

The topic on May 31, 2015 was Vulnerability is Victory. Armoring ourselves against vulnerability simultaneously armors us against experiencing the true meaning of success, which is victory over false belief in lack, limitation, fear, doubt, and worry. We cannot be vulnerable and at the same time play it safe by the world’s standards. So why not put an end to limitation and step into authentic victory?

Vulnerability Is Transparency – May 17, 2015

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. This month’s theme is The “V” WordVulnerability.

Have you ever considered how being over-serious closes the window of our minds and armors our hearts? Light and laughter cannot enter and lift our spirits, and that’s where vulnerability steps in to soften and open us, to allow us to laugh at our all-caught-up-ness in the “monolithic me” that takes itself and life far too seriously.

The topic on May 17, 2015 was Vulnerability Is Transparency. When we consider the lives of the mystics, had they not made themselves utterly vulnerable to become one with Spirit, there would be no spiritual rebels or ecstatic poetry to quicken our own yearnings, to make our soul hunger self-transparency and launch us on our own unique spiritual journey to oneness with Pure Spirit.

Vulnerability Is Availability – May 10, 2015

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. This month’s theme is The “V” WordVulnerability.

Have you ever considered how being over-serious closes the window of our minds and armors our hearts? Light and laughter cannot enter and lift our spirits, and that’s where vulnerability steps in to soften and open us, to allow us to laugh at our all-caught-up-ness in the “monolithic me” that takes itself and life far too seriously.

The topic on May 10, 2015 was Vulnerability Is Availability. “Ouch!” the ego says, when something doesn’t go its way. “Ha-ha-ahhhh,” vulnerability says as we release ego’s stronghold and let our soul-joy come through. Our social conditioning prepares us to cover our backside, but where is the growth or aliveness in such an approach? Vulnerability gives us the availability to the full spectrum of life, love, and laughter.
