Growing Holy Relationships, Part 1 – October 2, 2022

Loving greetings and welcome to October, which we traditionally dedicate to celebrating the gift of friendship in our lives. This year’s theme, “Limitless Friendliness,” embraces not only those we call friend, it also reminds us that Spirit’s essence permeates each and every person in which it has uniquely individualized itself. I invite you to join us as we practice extending loving kindness and compassion to all beings, including ourselves. I also wish to add an extra sentence here to express my heartfelt gratitude for the divine friendship we share as a spiritual family.

The October 2, 2022 topic is Growing Holy Relationships, Part 1. “There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.” Those stirring words from St. Thomas Aquinas encourage us not to take for granted the friends who bless our lives. Please join us this Sunday as we focus on the soul-qualities we bring to the altar of friendship, and the inner enrichment that is ours when we open our heart to receiving the gifts offered through growing holy relationships.

“Spirit’s Timeless Time” – September 25, 2022

Loving greetings and happy Rosh Hashanah to those of you who celebrate this sacred holiday.

Have you ever considered how we place such absolute trust in those two little sticks revolving around twelve numbers on our watches, or a digital watch? How about what time it would be if we weren’t already convinced we knew what time it is? Contemplating my own responses, I acknowledged that any given moment within any given day contains the potential for spiritual awakening, which led me to our September theme, “Waking Up in the Now Moment.”

The September 25, 2022 topic is “Spirit’s Timeless Time.” From the 10,000 year-old Hindu Vedas to the oldest Biblical text of 3,400 years ago, the existence of time and eternity have been explored. The truth is, each of us lives in the Absolute’s timeless time, Its breathless breath, whether in this dimension or the next. The question is: That being so, by what universal principles do each of us choose to live our life in each precious moment?

“Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow” – September 18, 2022

Loving greetings and happy Rosh Hashanah to those of you who celebrate this sacred holiday.

Have you ever considered how we place such absolute trust in those two little sticks revolving around twelve numbers on our watches, or a digital watch? How about what time it would be if we weren’t already convinced we knew what time it is? Contemplating my own responses, I acknowledged that any given moment within any given day contains the potential for spiritual awakening, which led me to our September theme, “Waking Up in the Now Moment.”

The September 18, 2022 topic is “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.” As the Rolling Stones remind us, “Time is on my side, yes it is.” Every moment within every day is an opportunity to enter a deeper state of clear-seeing, self-honesty, self-intimacy, and self-realization. It all begins with greeting ourselves each morning in a self-empowered mindset and heart-set of deservedness and enthusiasm to declare, claim, and accept our divine inheritance.

“Present Moment, Miraculous Moment” – September 11, 2022

Loving greetings and happy Rosh Hashanah to those of you who celebrate this sacred holiday.

Have you ever considered how we place such absolute trust in those two little sticks revolving around twelve numbers on our watches, or a digital watch? How about what time it would be if we weren’t already convinced we knew what time it is? Contemplating my own responses, I acknowledged that any given moment within any given day contains the potential for spiritual awakening, which led me to our September theme, “Waking Up in the Now Moment.”

The September 11, 2022 topic is “Present Moment, Miraculous Moment.” To be awake in the present moment is to consciously realize the preciousness of our human birth, the miraculous in all that it means to be a spiritual being having a human experience. This doesn’t require looking at ourselves in hindsight, with foresight or even insight, but rather clear-sight, which then expresses as gratitude for the capacity to fully realize our Essential Self.

“The Meaning of ‘Now'” – September 4, 2022

Loving greetings and happy Rosh Hashanah to those of you who celebrate this sacred holiday.

Have you ever considered how we place such absolute trust in those two little sticks revolving around twelve numbers on our watches, or a digital watch? How about what time it would be if we weren’t already convinced we knew what time it is? Contemplating my own responses, I acknowledged that any given moment within any given day contains the potential for spiritual awakening, which led me to our September theme, “Waking Up in the Now Moment.”

The September 4, 2022 topic is “The Meaning ofNow.'” This good news comes to us via Romans 13:11: “you know what time it is, now is the moment for you to wake from sleep.” These words inform us of our potential to wake up from the sleep of separation, limitation, false belief. Not tomorrow, but now, if it is our sincere, committed intention to awaken. Do you dare to enter such a liberating moment?

Living That Good Thing – August 28, 2022

We all experience those times when we are in harmony with life’s flow, along with those in which we find ourselves out of sync. And when it appears that the outer world we share as a human family seems to have fallen off its axis, let us consciously pause and remind ourselves that Spirit and its universal Laws of Life are unconditionally available to comfort, uplift, and heal. Our monthly theme, “The Principles and Practices for Harmonious Living,” will guide us in restoring balance and spiritual poise to the Soul-Song that is each of our lives.

The August 28, 2022 topic is Living That Good Thing. The biblical proverb, “As ye sow, so shall ye reap” (Gal. 6:7), clearly expresses the spiritual principle of cause and effect or, in secular terms, “what goes around comes around.” Today we will examine how our inner and outer choices operate in all of our life structures in a way that enables us to consciously, wisely choose what we sow so that we may reap That Good Thing.

Harmonizing Our Inner and Outer Voice – August 21, 2022

We all experience those times when we are in harmony with life’s flow, along with those in which we find ourselves out of sync. And when it appears that the outer world we share as a human family seems to have fallen off its axis, let us consciously pause and remind ourselves that Spirit and its universal Laws of Life are unconditionally available to comfort, uplift, and heal. Our monthly theme, “The Principles and Practices for Harmonious Living,” will guide us in restoring balance and spiritual poise to the Soul-Song that is each of our lives.

The August 21, 2022 topic is Harmonizing Our Inner and Outer Voice. Musicologist Johan Sundberg said, “The human voice has been called ‘the mirror to our soul.’” Our individual voice emanates its own unique energetic frequency. As our inner voice of faith becomes empowered, it organically harmonizes with our outer vocalization of Spiritual Mind Treatment. Today we will have fun experimenting with this principle.

We all experience those times when we are in harmony with life’s flow, along with those in which we find ourselves out of sync. The August 14, 2022 topic is Composing the Soundtrack of Our Lives. Each of us is the composer of the soundtrack of our lives, including its rhythms and harmonies that express our beliefs, intentions, and values through our actions. In other words, the mindsets and heart-sets that reach within and activate the Divine Potentiality are always available to us. Today we’ll learn how to not be tone deaf to the song Spirit wants to sing in, through and as us.

Finding Harmony in the Midst of Disharmony – August 7, 2022

We all experience those times when we are in harmony with life’s flow, along with those in which we find ourselves out of sync. And when it appears that the outer world we share as a human family seems to have fallen off its axis, let us consciously pause and remind ourselves that Spirit and its universal Laws of Life are unconditionally available to comfort, uplift, and heal. The August 7, 2022 topic is Finding Harmony in the Midst of Disharmony. How can we ground our spiritual, mental, and emotional footing when the outer world appears to be so unstable? How do we genuinely live our spiritual convictions amidst the disharmony that is impossible to ignore? These are deep questions that we will explore in a spirit of supporting ourselves, one another, and our world.

Freedom from Ego’s Control – July 31, 2022

Loving greetings and may you have a memorable July 4th on this special day in American history!

In addition to delicious bar-b-ques and fireworks, July 4th can serve to encourage us to contemplate what it means to practice authentic freedom in our daily lives. To support us in this process, our theme of the month is “The Empowerment of Inner Freedom.” Inner freedom gifts us with the empowerment to make choices aligned with our true essence, based on who we truly are as an individualized expression of Spirit. So if you’re open and ready for a journey into self-trust, then join us each Sunday as together we celebrate everyday as an independence day.

The July 31, 2022 topic is Freedom from Ego’s Control. “No is not the opposite of yes, control is.” These wise words of therapist and author, David Richo remind us that the need to control is not a genuine need but instead a false belief that if we don’t take control our needs will not be met. The spiritual power in releasing control moves us into experiencing the unconditional trustworthiness of Spirit as the source of “all needs are met.”
