The Significance of the 23rd Psalm – December 18, 2022

Joyous Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa greetings to you and your dear ones! My prayer for us all is that however we celebrate it brings delight to our hearts and souls as we welcome the blessings of love and upliftment these holy-days extend to us. May we also be reminded that we are world citizens with the potential to be a beneficial presence on the planet through our collective contribution to creating a world of peaceful co-existence, compassion, and wisdom-guided action.

I very much look forward to gathering together and/or listening together throughout the month with “Tiz the Season of Giving” as our theme. Please join me in taking a dive deep below surface existence into the fullness of our true purpose as spiritual beings having a human existence.

The December 18, 2022 topic is The Significance of the 23rd Psalm. There is something to be learned from the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah which honors the power of faith and courage. Each of us possess these inherent qualities, for as the 23rd Psalm reminds us: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Therein lies our trust in the truth that because Spirit is our sufficiency, plenitude and wholeness are our divine inheritance.

Change–A Blessing or a Curse?

Joyous Thanksgiving wishes to you and your dear ones! May your celebrations uplift your hearts, enliven your spirits, and delight your taste buds.

I’m so looking forward to sharing this special month with you, and I want to begin by letting each of you know how grateful I am for your presence in my life and in our spiritual community. That we are sharing this unique time on the planet together is a blessing, because as like-minded seekers we are able to encourage and inspire one another, remind one another of who we are and why we are here. I invite you to join me each Sunday when our theme is “The Way of a Spiritual Warrior.”

The November 27, 2022 topic is Change–A Blessing or a Curse? If there’s one given in life we can rely on it’s that the only thing that is changeless is change. Without it, how could we transform our lives? Now there are changes we consciously seek and welcome when they appear, but what about those inconvenient, annoying things that life seems to rudely impose upon us? Can we see that even what we define as negative could be positivity in disguise, here to wake us up? This Sunday, let’s find out!

The qualities of boldness, daring and courage are mindsets of spiritual warriorship that prevent us from giving up on ourselves as we traverse the terrain of ups and downs, the valleys and peaks that all awakened beings such as Jesus the Christ and the Buddha experienced in their lives and share in their teachings. This Sunday we will equip ourselves to stand victoriously before Life and graciously welcome the Spirit that is at our side every step of the way.

Are you ready?

The Faces of Spirit’s Divine Love – October 30, 2022

Loving greetings and welcome to October, which we traditionally dedicate to celebrating the gift of friendship in our lives. This year’s theme, “Limitless Friendliness,” embraces not only those we call friend, it also reminds us that Spirit’s essence permeates each and every person in which it has uniquely individualized itself. I invite you to join us as we practice extending loving kindness and compassion to all beings, including ourselves. I also wish to add an extra sentence here to express my heartfelt gratitude for the divine friendship we share as a spiritual family.

The October 30, 2022 topic is The Faces of Spirit’s Divine Love. The Law of Love is an expression of our relationship with Spirit in form. It is a conscious, fearless heart-opening, a willingness to be both a giver and receiver of love, a channel of love’s flow that is sacred, unconditional, and eternal. When we know Spirit as the very Source and Essence of love, we experience it within the forms of human love between parent and child, siblings, friends, life partners–in all Existence.

The October 23, 2022 topic is Unconditional Friendship. Some share the opinion that true friends don’t encounter bumpy times on the road of friendship, that they shouldn’t express criticism or offer opinions unless asked. But I ask you, where is the growth in that? Unconditional friendship includes walking hand-in-hand through challenges, offering forgiveness for the missteps intentionally or unintentionally made. It’s about healing and transforming together, for therein we give and receive some of its most precious gifts.

Thank You for Being a Friend! – October 16, 2022

The October 16, 2022 topic is Thank You for Being a Friend! “Thank you for being a friend. Traveled down a road and back again. Your heart is true, you’re a pal and a confidant. I’m not ashamed to say I hope it will stay this way. My hat is off, won’t you stand and take a bow”–so wrote and sang Andrew Gold. How blessed we are that as we walk through this world we can turn to a friend and say—or sing if you prefer—those gracious words. We can even offer these words to loved ones who are no longer gracing our three-dimensional world, because there is no separation between souls. Let the chorus begin!
