Trust Is Faith in Action – June 23, 2019

Isn’t it interesting how, when something is marketed as “one-of-a-kind,” its value rises? And yet, when we are reminded that each of us is a one-of-a-kind expression of Spirit, our individual market value can remain, well, rather flat? The truth is, we oftentimes lack the faith or trust in ourselves as the unique, individualized reflection of Spirit that we are. And that’s why our theme for the month of June is “Planting Seeds of Faith.” And it doesn’t stop there, because together we will learn how we may nurture and blossom those seeds, just as the Master Gardner intended when It implanted them within us.

The topic on June 23, 2019, was Trust Is Faith in Action. Trust is a manifestation of our faith in action. Whether we’re in the midst of an inner storm or riding on the sea of tranquility, we remain unshakable in the knowing that we are never alone, that the Power and Presence of our Creator Source unconditionally accompanies us, walks by our side and tells us we are Its own.

The topic on June 16, 2019, was Spirit as Father: The Love that Never Lets Go. Male and female metaphors for Spirit are not incompatible. As the parable of the Prodigal Son and the child within us all knows, Spirit as the “father” also is tender, compassionate, protective, never gives up on us or lets go of us. Our part is to meet the Father nature within that so loves us that it became us and empowered us with its qualities of wisdom, faith, confidence and courage.

The topic on June 9, 2019, was Faith: The Power that Moves Mountains. “For truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.” Thus spoke Jesus the Christ, who was a living example of his teachings. Within each one of us there also lives a mountain-mover, awaiting our command to remove any obstacles that stand in the way of our capacity for enlightened living.

Isn’t it interesting how, when something is marketed as “one-of-a-kind,” its value rises? The topic on June 2, 2019, was Take Your Stand! As Ernest Holmes reminds, “Let us stand for something, rather than against something,” just as Spirit’s unconditional love stands for us and never against us. During these challenging times, let us take a stand for Love, knowing absolutely that Love is Spirit’s direct vehicle for unifying, healing, and restoring our remembrance of our oneness with It, and with our world family.
