Spirit as Father: The Love that Never Lets Go – June 16, 2019

Isn’t it interesting how, when something is marketed as “one-of-a-kind,” its value rises? And yet, when we are reminded that each of us is a one-of-a-kind expression of Spirit, our individual market value can remain, well, rather flat? The truth is, we oftentimes lack the faith or trust in ourselves as the unique, individualized reflection of Spirit that we are. And that’s why our theme for the month of June is “Planting Seeds of Faith.” And it doesn’t stop there, because together we will learn how we may nurture and blossom those seeds, just as the Master Gardner intended when It implanted them within us.

The topic on June 16, 2019, was Spirit as Father: The Love that Never Lets Go. Male and female metaphors for Spirit are not incompatible. As the parable of the Prodigal Son and the child within us all knows, Spirit as the “father” also is tender, compassionate, protective, never gives up on us or lets go of us. Our part is to meet the Father nature within that so loves us that it became us and empowered us with its qualities of wisdom, faith, confidence and courage.
