It is about accepting yourself—your strengths, passions, and compassionately acknowledging the areas in which you have yet to grow. What an exhilarating way to live, evolve, and serve in the world free of false complaints.

The renowned Zen monk and teacher, Suzuki Roshi reminds us, “In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s there are few.” A “beginner” is one who remains open, teachable, and humble no matter how many years they have been on the spiritual path or what their spiritual credentials may be. Let’s learn to keep an open, flexible, and receptive mind to Spirit’s infinite possibilities.
