You’re More than What You Appear to Be – April 2, 2017

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

Joyous Easter and Passover wishes to you and your dear ones. As we enter this sacred season of resurrecting our consciousness into a state of soul-freedom, it is wise to contemplate the example of the master teacher Jesus the Christ, and the Israelites who freed themselves from slavery to spiritual freedom.

What a blessed opportunity for us to deepen our individual commitment to our spiritual evolutionary progress, to free ourselves from being held hostage by limiting beliefs, societal conditioning, and any hesitation to move into the yet unknown. To support us on the journey, this month’s theme is, Rejoice! You’re Closer Than You Can Imagine.

The topic on April 2, 2017, was You’re More than What You Appear to Be. If you were to glance into what our Buddhist brethren call our “Original Face,” you would discover your true nature, your Christ nature of innate perfection. We tend instead to focus on transforming those aspects of ourselves that we feel will enhance our self-image. But one glimpse into our true Essence would cause us to fearlessly bend a knee before the beauty, the luminosity of our Inner Being beyond all outer appearances.
