Todd Sasse, co-Founder of The Sunday Morning Band and since it was formed in 2002, is a self-taught drummer who began pursuing his talent at age 7.

So driven by the beat as a child, Todd would sneak into his school’s band room and practice on their drum kit. His passion and devotion to percussion soon caught the attention of the school’s band director and music teacher, Frank Conti, who became Todd’s mentor. “He believed in me and taught me to improvise, play from my soul and perfect my craft.”

Within 7 years, at the young age of 14, Todd began drumming professionally for local gigs in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.
