Celebrating the Riches of Life – October 30, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I’m reminded of that time many years ago when a dear friend invited me to attend my first Science of Mind service. It was at a critical juncture in my life, so the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Because my friend was willing to step out in such a compassionate yet bold way, I stand before you today sharing the universal truth principles that changed my life. And now I’m following her example by inviting you to consider introducing family and friends to our Center—not at all proselytizing, but in a spirit of sharing. In support of this, our theme of the month is, Share the Love, Share the Light, Share the Wealth.

The topic on October 30, 2016, was Celebrating the Riches of Life. Today we will celebrate our deepening understanding of what it really means to be wealthy and its accompanying demonstration of riches. And certainly it begins with the blessing we share as a family of individuals who support one another in honestly looking within and ending a mindset of inner poverty by reminding one another and accepting that we have been equipped with all we need to live the life abundant.

I Think Constructively

DISCOVERING THE PERFECT POWER

How to Use the Statements of Truth:

      •   Relax and be still for a few minutes.
      •   Now read the Statement of Truth through at least three times.
      •   In silence, meditate on this thought for a few minutes.
      •   You can write the statement on a card and carry it with you.
Read the Statement of Truth and meditate on it as often as you can.
      •   Read the Statement of Truth just before you go to sleep, and go to sleep meditating on it.

LESSON ONE —

STATEMENT OF TRUTH — FIRST WEEK

I THINK CONSTRUCTIVELY

Destructive thoughts tend to destroy me and those around me. When I worry about someone, I do him/her and myself harm. Instead of worrying, I think, “The Perfect Power within me knows exactly what to do and how to do it.” I trust the Perfect Power within me and within all of life.

And so it is

THE PERFECT POWER WITHIN YOU

Swimming in the Sea of Abundance – October 23, 2016

The topic on October 23, 2016, was Swimming in the Sea of Abundance. We can often be like the fish swimming in the ocean that looks around and asks, “I can’t see the water! Where is the water?” We are immersed in a sea of abundance in both the seeming ordinary and the extraordinary aspects of our lives, but we lack the clarity of vision to see it. This week we will open our inner eye, our mindsets and heartsets in deep respect and appreciation of the wealth and riches that surround and interpenetrate us.

Imagination Creates

I am one with the one presence, the one mind, the one power, God infinite good. I keep my mind centered in divine love, the source of all life and all good. This perfect power within me guides me, directs me and leads me on the pathway of what is right for me.

What I imagine becomes my experience. My imagination is controlled with clear direction to create, expect, and respond to the good and the great. I am conscious of the limitless abundance of good everywhere. The Divine provides me with channels of limitless possibilities and new opportunities for expansion and fuller expression.

The invisible gravitates to me and becomes a visible manifestation of my desired ideas. There is a law that accepts this thought, this feeling and this word. This is now a seed thought planted in the fertile ground of creation. It is operated upon by law and through the Law of Mind, produces the perfect and complete manifestation of my fulfilled desire.

I am grateful for this completed demonstration that is infused with the joy of reality. I feel it. I see it. I know it. I believe it. I now release it to the great Law of Mind and let it do its perfect work, and so it is!

The topic on October 16, 2016, was What Does It Really Mean to Be Wealthy? – Part 2. Each of us holds the key of consciousness that unlocks Spirit’s treasure house. The first turn begins with understanding what is meant by, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else shall be added unto you.” When we place our spiritual search at the top of our priority list, the energy of that commitment condenses into the form of all needs met. So get ready to claim what is already yours!

Love is the Power

I turn from that which seems to be my present expression, to that which I desire to be. My whole being is immersed in peace and unity. I am centered in the Spirit of love. I claim myself to be God-loving and therefore All-loving. Divine love governs all of my relationships and all of my experiences. The power of love heals and blesses everyone and everything I come into contact with. The spirit of love sources all of my actions and governs all of my affairs.

I see an ever-increasing awareness of universal love and intelligence in all people everywhere. Love replaces fear and firmly establishes a world atmosphere that empowers individual goodness and greatness by reaching deeply into the hearts and minds of all. Opportunities and possibilities are motivated and sustained by the wisdom of divine love. I believe that self-love secures and heals discord and limited thinking. Love opens the heart and makes the mind flexible and willing to release the present reality of what is to accepting a new reality of what can be. The loving nature of God is all-powerful, limitless and everywhere present. With invincible faith, love and gratitude, I accept this as the truth and release it to the great Law of Mind that always responds by corresponding, and so it is!

The topic on October 9, 2016, was What Does It Really Mean to Be Wealthy? – Part 1. The words “rich” and “wealthy” are not literally synonyms. No matter how rich our bank account may grow to be, we may remain inwardly destitute. It is the cultivation of our inner qualities that draws to us the outer demonstration of Spirit’s plenitude in life. This week we will explore our divine inheritance of wholeness, contentment, generosity, and joy, including its many expressions of riches.

I Am a Wealth of Ideas

I am one with Infinite Mind within. I am a perfect idea in the mind of God. My mind has been naturally implanted with the richness of Divine activity. I allow the power of its activity to work through me in wondrous ways. Divine intelligence governs my every thought, feeling and action into the right expression of creative and constructive ideas. Each idea brings with it limitless possibilities and immediate opportunities for complete fulfillment.

Every rich idea produces rich results. I expect to express the best and inspire others to do the same. I recognize God as the only power that is operative back of all things, expressing as love, perfect harmony, infinite peace, and divine cooperation.

Within me is the mighty power and courage to accept the Truth that sets me free from all belief in loss, lack or limitation. My Divine Self knows only abundance and success, which is rooted in the peace of mind that comes from the recognition of this Truth. I am a wealth of ideas. I am aware of it. I understand it. I accept it. I see it. I know it. In gratitude, I let go and let God be God, and so it is!

How Willing Are You to Receive? – October 2, 2016

The topic on October 2, 2016, was How Willing Are You to Receive? The nature of the Law of Abundance is to multiply that which we are open and receptive to receiving. “As we bring ourselves to a greater vision than our present concepts,” Dr. Holmes teaches, “we can induce a greater concept and thereby demonstrate more in our experience.” This begins with first being courageous enough to accept our worthiness. Then watch how the Law unfolds the rest!
