Unity

I am unified with the one presence and power that created everything. This power infiltrates every part of my being with its positive, affirmative and constructive energy. I recognize that it is as much a part of me as I am a part of it. I am never separated from this infinite source.

There is an energy of divine cooperation that establishes me in truth and sustains me in an all-abiding faith. I am in constant communion with this Divine inner power as it harmonizes, balances and fulfills every desire. I surrender and allow right action to do its perfect work now, I give thanks, and so it is!

Laugh the Laugh of Buddha – August 28, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. The theme for the month of August is Laughter: Spirit’s Medicine of Grace.

Every minister I know wants his or her talk to touch the collective heart of the congregation. Would it surprise you to know that surveys reveal the best ways to achieve this is to cause laughter? It’s not that ministers are frustrated stand up comedians with a pulpit; it’s that laughter is a healing art, a friend on the spiritual journey, Spirit’s most excellent medicine.

The Christian mystic Anthony De Mello tells a story about a group of disciples who seek to learn from a saintly teacher the stages he had passed through in his practices. After describing how he found himself in the Land of Love, a disciple asked, “Was that the final stage of your quest?” “No,” the Maser said. “One day God said, ‘Today I shall take you into the innermost sanctuary of the Temple…and I was led to the Land of Laughter.’”

The topic on August 28, 2016, was Laugh the Laugh of Buddha. A memorable quip from Robert Frost goes like this, “Forgive me, O Lord, my little jokes on Thee, and I’ll forgive Thy great big joke on me.” The greatest joke on us is the illusion that we are separate from Source and therefore don’t see our true image reflected in the cosmic mirror of “My Life Just as It Is.” I’m convinced that when we fully awaken to our true nature, there will escape from our deepest core a laugh so genuine it will be a prayer, the most beautiful prayer we have ever prayed.

No More Suffering

I am at one with Divine Presence. This Presence is the source of my life. I turn my thoughts away from the outer world of effects and enter the secret place of the most high. There is no otherness. I am deep in oneness.

I willingly empty out the small chattering mind and deem it powerless, as I surrender to Divine Mind. Fear is a form of suffering and I let it go. I release and let go of all concerns. I am at peace in the quiet. I can hear my spiritual heart beat. I am clear energy, relaxed, released and relieved.

As I look deeper, I see there is nothing to do, nothing to fix. There is only this moment of life to live, and to live it fully. I now allow myself to experience being present in every moment. I am free from struggle and confusion. I am centered and balanced. All the forces are in harmony with me. I am whole and complete within myself. I am open. I am light. I am content. I am grateful. I let this be, and so it is!

Turning Yourself Outside In and Laughing all the Way – August 21, 2016

The topic on August 21, 2016, was Turning Yourself Outside In and Laughing all the Way. The truly spiritual are revolutionaries who are committed to turning from without to within and creating a metamorphosis in consciousness. Stepping away from the hypnotism of societal conditioning and trends, unhooking from outer distractions, they turn to the core of their being and commune with the reality of their godliness. The vehicles that transport them are contemplative prayer, meditation, spiritual study, occasionally taking a retreat, and appreciation for God’s sense of humor implanted in their souls.

Let It Go!

I am one with God-mind, God-presence, and God-power. I am a unique and individualized expression of that which created me. I call it God. I believe it is an operative power for good that lives within me and is greater than I am. I let go of any belief in any other power. God is, I Am.

Feeling broken or disconnected is an appearance of fear caused by a perception. I let it go! I am not a mistake. I let it go! I don’t attract negative energy. I let it go! It is only a false belief that fear has power. I let it go! Fear is a symptom letting me know that some old thought or feeling is impeding my energy. I let it go! It is not for me to judge whether it is good or bad, right or wrong. I let it go! Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. I let it go!

I look up and stay focused on the empowering energy of invincible faith. Fear does not originate with God–For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

I rejoice and give thanks for this absolute Truth. I let go and let God be God, and so it is!

Reconnecting to Your Wholeness One Laugh at a Time – August 14, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. The theme for the month of August is Laughter: Spirit’s Medicine of Grace.

The topic on August 14, 2016, was Reconnecting to Your Wholeness One Laugh at a Time. In truth, the sense that we have become disconnected to our innate wholeness is an impossibility! It is a joke on ourselves by the ego. The only “reconnection” required is steadfastly reminding ourselves of who and what we are, even as we stand in the quagmire of wondering if we’ve been fooling ourselves all along with our “spiritual work.” We can no more separate ourselves from our inherent wholeness than we can remove our breath from our body, or our inherent sense of humor from our beautiful humanness.

Solutions

I am one with Infinite Mind and it knows the solution to every seeming problem. Any false belief in doubt or worry is powerless and not a part of my consciousness. My consciousness is clear, open and receptive to God’s peace and harmony, love and wisdom. I am sustained in peace.

Surrendering to the all-knowing power that is greater than I am creates order out of the illusion of confusion. I calmly align myself with Creative Mind. We are One Mind expressing as Divine Life.

Infinite intelligence knows what to do and how to do it. I step aside and let its guidance lead me into right action. I cooperate confidently with wisdom and trust, knowing that the light of Truth illumines my way. I give thanks for the solution. I let God be God, and so it is!

Life’s Challenges: Stumbling Blocks or Stepping Stones? – August 7, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. The theme for the month of August is Laughter: Spirit’s Medicine of Grace.

The topic on August 7, 2016, was Life’s Challenges: Stumbling Blocks or Stepping Stones? The only real stumbling block in our challenges is that the ego becomes so insulted, annoyed, or frightened it wants to repress, deny, or pray them away. Immediately! Put another way, affirming our good is not about negating our challenges; it’s about preparing our consciousness to skillfully work with them. A spiritual practitioner shakes hands with his/her inner opponents out of respect for the gifts of insight and transformation they offer. With gentleness, patience, and willingness to work with our challenges with a sense of humor, we can transform them into stepping stones.

Hi to all my Special Ones,

This is a shout-out and a reach-out to thank you all for your support, and to ask all of you for your continued support, as we embark on and celebrate together this new beginning in our new spiritual home.

It is summer and I know you all have many things going on in your busy lives. Sunday might be your only family day. With that in mind, I ask you to consider bringing your families and friends on Sunday for Community that is meaningful, life enhancing and fun! Remember too that after spending an uplifting positive morning at Science of Mind, our new neighborhood offers the shopping center and many great restaurants that are within walking distance from the Glendale Masonic Center.

Whether you attend regularly, once in a while, rarely, or have been away for a long time, I am reaching out to you to invite you to come on Sundays. Become a consistent and empowering part of our Center as we begin together this exciting new journey. I bet you didn’t know that people ask me about you when they haven’t seen you for a while: “Where is so-and-so and what happened to this one and that one?” Yes, you are thought about and your presence is missed. I wonder about you as well and miss seeing you.

I ask that you join me in envisioning and affirming that our Center makes a positive difference in the community and is a life-changing force for betterment in the world. The world could certainly use a coalition of spiritually minded and dedicated people, who are spiritual warriors and spiritual peacemakers. That’s us! Let’s not let the past or logic limit us. Together we can dream big, live happily and richly, and be the examples of change we want to see in the world. Our contribution – to each other and to all – makes the world a better place.

We have a beautiful sanctuary that is filled with sacred light and energy. Our Sunday morning band is now visible on stage. The sound has been improved and transformed to be in perfect balance no matter where you sit. The seating is comfortable and in a welcoming configuration. The Youth Center is located just outside the sanctuary in a large bright area that is open and inviting. After the service, everyone gathers in our spacious social room which provides an intimate setting of tables and chairs. Here our guests sit and visit while enjoying snacks and refreshments.

Our Service Ministry is expanding and always ready to share its talents and skills. If you feel called to serve, please call the office at 818.901.7600 and let us know. We would love to hear from you. As Martin Luther King said, ” …anybody can serve…You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love.”

A big thank you to all of you who give financial support whether you are with us on Sundays or not. Your stewardship is deeply appreciated and valued. It touches many lives and helps to open up avenues of opportunity for others.

My prayer is that you will now embrace this as an open invitation to be an active part of our spiritual community that offers strength, inspiration and love to each of you!

Your participation matters.
You are important to this Center.
You make a difference!

Love and deepest blessings,

Rev. Pam

I Am Perfect Health

The Spirit within me is God, that Spirit is perfect. It is my sustainer and provider. It created me whole, complete and perfect. I am protected by its Divine Presence. There is no thought or belief in insufficiency of any kind. Every function of body is perfect and sufficiently stable in every way. Any known or unknown cause that could be detrimental is dissolved by the pure action of God’s healing power. This limitless energy strengthens me inside and outside.
Any seeming weakness is transformed into vitality and energy. I meet any condition boldly and honestly. I consciously cooperate with the creative power within. I am grateful for every experience.

I surrender all doubt, fear and concerns. I am established in an inward sense of well being that is maintained and directed by infinite intelligence. I am surrounded by the intelligence of Spirit operating through perfect law. I am healed by the revelation of the Truth in a power that is not bound or limited. This power is All-Power, operative in and through every part of my being. Perfect health is my reality and my experience. I know that the law accepts my word and delivers to me the conscious manifestation of health. I feel vibrant, fresh and resurrected.

Thank you eternal Spirit for your rich embodiment in my life. I accept this Truth. I let it be. All is well, and so it is!
