Love: Our Singular Path and Purpose – February 28, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

How wonderful it is that our culture devotes an entire month to love, making February a perfect context in which to check in with ourselves on the depth and generosity of our capacity to give and receive love.

“Love,” Dr. Holmes writes, “is the greatest healing power in the Universe…a love so infinite, deep, and broad that men have renamed it and called it God.” And because each of us is an expression born out of that highest embodiment of love we too can say to ourselves, “I, rename myself Love.” And then ask: “Do I live the love that I am?”

To the degree that we love, forgive, offer compassion and kindness to all those who cross our path—including the Earth’s animals and nature’s resources—to that degree we are a distribution center of Spirit’s love. So to conduct our personal “love check-up,” this month’s theme is, How High Is Your Love Quotient?

The topic on February 28, 2016, was Love: Our Singular Path and Purpose. What a paradox it is that everything we put into our spiritual practice—all the energy and discipline involved in praying, meditating, spiritual study—leads to the realization that we have been perfect all along, that we have been enlightened all along. This is the ultimate discovery: Divine Love is our essential nature. And from that discovery to evolve from describing ourselves as “I am in the world,” to “I AM the world.”

Opportunities

There is one presence, one power, one life, God, infinite good. I am at one with this all-knowing presence and power. Because there is no separation between what created me and me, I have all the qualities of God’s perfection–body, mind and spirit. I am health, love, beauty, joy, peace, courage and embody all God-ordained qualities.

When life offers unexpected opportunities that appear overwhelming, it is to stir up the gifts within me, so that I may have a greater understanding of truth and discover the limitless potential that I am. Nothing is given to me that I can’t handle with absolute certainty, courage and trust.

I am grateful for invincible faith and the ever-increasing strength and determination to forge ahead, in spite of all appearances. I know the power of this word now goes forth and manifests for the greater good and well being of all. Right action is the only action taking place. I live in an atmosphere of affirmative expectancy, knowing that all is well everywhere.

With gratitude, I release this word of truth knowing, believing and accepting that its right and perfect work is done, and so it is!

It’s All Good and All God

My Divine partnership with God allows me to see good everywhere. There is no postponement in God’s good plan for me. Unlimited channels of good are open to me right now. I accept the abundance of God’s eternal generosity that provides goodness for me in consistent and limitless ways. I hold fast to what is good. The absolute recognition of the law of good is the spiritual security that governs my happy, radiant and complete life.

I am consistent in thinking good thoughts and expressing good in all that I do. I have complete faith in the power of an all-providing good. Everyone I encounter is filled and over flowing with goodness. Divine goodness sustains me in all that I do. My consciousness of good draws to me the right recognition, appreciation and worthwhile achievements. There is only one law and that is the Law of Good, and it governs my life now and forever. I give thanks for this complete demonstration, I let it be, and so it is!

Your Greatest Spiritual Technology – February 21, 2016

The topic on February 21, 2016, was Your Greatest Spiritual Technology. You have immediate access to the most potent spiritual technology: Affirmative prayer. Bring to mind the 5 steps of treatment and consider not only their metaphysical aspects but also their mystical dimensions which claim our individual oneness with the Creative Power of God. If we can get mentally and spiritually in tune with that, our good will be ever-flowing, ever-increasing and ever-demonstrating.

BYOV – February 14, 2016

The topic on February 14, 2016, was BYOV. Now for those of us of a certain generation who don’t speak in acronyms, BYOV stands for “Be Your Own Valentine.” How appropriate that Valentine’s day is symbolized by a heart. Researchers at the Heart-Math Institute have scientifically proven that the human heart possesses its own brain, so let’s get on board and consciously program our heart-brain with increasing levels of love! After all, no thought or action prospers that is not initiated, motivated, and expressed from love.

Enjoy Each Moment

I live in the newness of every moment. There are no past thoughts and no future thoughts. This present moment is not influenced by the past, nor is it subject to the illusion of future time.

By abiding in the consciousness of the Divine Presence in this present moment, all of my experiences are rich with love, joy and harmony. I am empowered from on high and every intention is divine and every decision is clear and sustained by right action.

I have peace of mind by staying fully present in the moment. This recognition automatically activates an ever-increasing good in my life. I am grateful for the embodiment of this truth right here, right now and always. I give thanks for the blessing of this perfect moment, this perfect day and this perfect demonstration, and so it is!

Transforming “Why Me?” into “Why Not Me?” – February 7, 2016

The topic on February 7, 2016, was Transforming “Why Me?” into “Why Not Me?” It’s curious that when we’re dealing with a life-challenge our first question is often, “Why did this happen to me?” This is the perfect place to turn the searchlight on how we see our lovability factor which, in turn, colors how we see ourselves through the eyes of God. How our hearts would melt and our soul would soar if for just one fleeting moment we could love ourselves, and others, with the unconditional love our Creator Source boundlessly pours upon us.

I Am the Consciousness of Complete Success

I am the consciousness of complete success producing the right and perfect results in every area of my life. The creative power within me sees to it that my relationships are centered in harmony, love and understanding. I am aligned with the prospering power of love surrounding me at all times. I am healthy and filled with vitality. Every service I perform is done with love and integrity.

There are no undesirable circumstances in my world. Everyone with whom I work prospers. I rise in consciousness so that I am only susceptible to positive, affirmative and constructive energy. I am surrounded by creative intelligence, which receives the direct impress of my thought and acts upon it. This intelligence powerfully impacts my thoughts, feelings and imagination as an activity of God.

There is unity between the inner world of spirit and the outer world of form. The seen and unseen have merged and my vision is complete and fully expressed. I rejoice and give thanks for the acceptance of this truth and I now claim it as my reality. I let it be, and so it is!

Now What? – January 31, 2016

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life.

I wish you abundant blessings in the New Year! As we welcome in 2016, let us begin with gratitude for all the opportunities we had for personal growth throughout the previous year, and open our hearts to those that we will greet in this New Year. What a joy it is to launch 2016 together, celebrating the Spirit and one another. Our theme for the month of January is, “Unleashing the Power Within.”

The topic on January 31, 2016, was Now What? As the Zen proverb goes, “After enlightenment, the laundry,” which is to say that after we listen and read and study we go on performing our daily responsibilities, knowing that we are accompanied by a Presence that adds delight to the simplest of actions. Spiritual practice isn’t a way of life where practicality is subservient to otherworldliness. Our purpose is to awaken to who we truly are and live in a way that invites wisdom.
