Exercising the Power of Faith

The Power and Presence of God created me in its own image and likeness and included a divine plan for my life. Included in that plan are many opportunities for change and maturity so that I can grow, develop and succeed. As I grow in strength and courage, I am fortified with the sustaining power of faith to resolve challenges, find peace and joy, and use a power rooted in love and wisdom when making decisions.

Exercising faith increases my confidence and fortifies even greater faith. By practicing faith, I am uplifted and inspired to be creative, decisive and clear in my choices. Trust is solidified by listening to divine guidance and responding to the direction of Spirit. The foundation of spiritual strength anchors me in principle and integrity. Fear has no power because my faith controls my thinking. I live in the atmosphere of faith, which brings many blessings, serenity and inner security

With invincible faith, I give thanks for the successful completion of this demonstration. I now let it be so, and so it is!

The Integrative Wellness Factor – April 26, 2015

At the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, you will hear relevant messages, by Rev. Pam MacGregor, that you can apply to everyday life. This month’s theme is Resurrect the Divine Impulse within You, which is longhand for “WAKE UP!“.

The word “Christ” comes from the Greek word “Kristos,” which means “anointed.” It is not a personal name or title belonging to one individual but rather refers to those who climb down from the cross of self-condemnation and resurrect their true Self that knows it is, always has been, and ever shall be anointed as a perfect, whole, and complete expression of pure Spirit.

The topic on April 26, 2015 was The Integrative Wellness Factor. As the wise sage Plato so aptly put it, “The part can never be well until the whole is well.” Contemplating his words, I realized that he is pinpointing an identifiable “wellness factor”: Integration. When we have established integral wholeness in our life structures, we experience an overall well-being in body, mind, and spirit. Now this isn’t to say we aren’t “doing it right” if challenges arise in one or more aspects of our lives. It’s about our realization of the underlying wholeness that exists in spite of challenges, the self-awareness, self-compassion, and spiritual medicine of treatment, meditation, and actions we take that restore our sense of overall wellness.

Nobody-ness, Somebody-ness, Other-ness – April 19, 2015

The topic on April 19, 2015 was Nobody-ness, Somebody-ness, Other-ness. Throughout any given day we can choose to cater to our sense of being “somebody”—our resume of titles and accomplishments; “nobody”—the wounded ego of lack of self-esteem or its opposite of over-compensation; or “other”—placing others before ourselves and experiencing the joys of compassionate, selfless service. When we stop serving the demands of the ego in the forms of personal gain, credit, fame, and money as a measure of our worth—then the God-vision of who we are takes over, opening our hearts of compassion, sharpening our mind of discernment, and enlivening our soul of interconnection to all beings.

How to Maintain a Radiant Inner Household – April 12, 2015

The topic on April 12, 2015 was How to Maintain a Radiant Inner Household. The current number one book on the LA bestseller list is The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, which is a guide to uncluttering one’s home. But what about our mind clutter, our mind chatter—isn’t it time we release them from our inner household? Is there some kind of spiritual Drano we can use to flush them out and restore our inner radiance? What a joy to be able to honestly say “Yes, there is!” We can begin every day afresh with affirmative prayer; we can make it a practice to pause throughout the day to remind ourselves, “Right here, right now, divine love, inner guidance, and inspiration are my constant companions.”

Spiritual Success

There is only One Presence, One Power and One Activity. I am One with this Divine Source that actively enriches my consciousness with creative ideas. Spirit’s first language is creativity and my Divine Nature is to consciously co-create success in all aspects of my life. My ever-expanding consciousness always attracts an ever-increasing good. I don’t need to push or effort. Pure intention motivates me with the grace of Spirit’s inspiration.

The ways and means for its fulfillment are quiet and subtle, yet strong and evident. As I grow and evolve, I act with initiative and certainty. Spirit is all-complete, expressing through me in an infinite variety of new ideas. Already within the idea there is the energy, the power and the activity necessary for the perfect and complete manifestation. Spirit has no boundaries in Its expression as me. I live, move and have my being in this recognition.
I accept the Divine plan for my life. I affirm that harmonious right action is now taking place through my purposeful life and me. My desires are governed by wisdom and my decisions are infused with the power of love, goodness and prosperity for all.

I relax in calm assurance and heart-felt gratitude, knowing that the intelligence of the infinite is making all things possible now and forevermore, and so it is!!

Drop the Thorns and Bloom the Lilies – April 5, 2015

The topic on April 5, 2015 was Drop the Thorns and Bloom the Lilies. Like most holidays, Easter has its own unique symbols. Beside those brightly painted eggs, cute little chicks and that false commercial god the Easter Bunny is the contrast of the cross, the crucifixion, suffering, and finally, resurrection. Is there a metaphysical teaching for us in all this? The truth is, we can be dragging a cross of personal condemnation around with us throughout the year, ultimately crucifying upon it whatever we don’t accept in ourselves. Isn’t it time we drop the thorns of self-torture and allow the beautiful lilies of our spirit to fully bloom and celebrate their resurrection within us?

Spiritual Resurrection

I am one with the one Mind, Power and Presence. This limitless supreme power is a divine power over all other forces. I am the vessel through which its divine action operates. The omnipotent power of the infinite dispels discord and I rise to a new level in consciousness. Love, wisdom and truth permeate my being and fill my heart and mind with peace and harmony.

A resurrecting spirit uplifts me to triumph over all things, to die to things of the past and to live in the eternal promise of the present moment. As I quiet my mind, the warmth of pure spirit centers me in the glorious light of Truth continually impelling me to new heights. Beyond reason and logic there is a pasture of grace deep within me where wholeness is restored, where silence replaces time and where harmony unifies with balance.

The wakefulness of the Divine impulse within me lifts my thought and brings a deeper understanding of the living idea of love. Faith, hope, love and understanding live in the trust of the present moment. There is a resurrecting spirit in all of us that lifts us out of the past and victoriously leads us to an illumination of a new and renewed faith in our oneness with God. I know and absolutely trust that my life is divinely guided and guarded into right action and into correct results. I am eternally grateful for this spiritual realization that maintains and sustains me in every right and perfect way. I release this word, knowing that it does not return unto me void but it goes forth and accomplishes that which I please, and prospers in the thing whereto I sent it now. And so it is!
